Your project must be an original AI education agent built during the hackathon period. It must directly address the needs of students in underserved public schools and go beyond a simple question-and-answer chatbot.
Every submission must include:
A working demo of your AI agent showing a real student interaction
A short video (3 minutes or less) walking through your solution and the problem it solves
A GitHub repository with clean, documented source code and a README
A one-page write-up covering the problem, your approach, and the potential impact for students
Submissions must be received before the deadline to be considered for judging.
Prizes
1st Place: $100 cash prize awarded to the winning team
All finalists will be recognized by AceSAT and considered for future collaboration opportunities as we continue to grow our mission in underserved communities.
Judging Criteria and Winner Selection
Projects will be evaluated by a panel of judges across four equally weighted categories:
Impact (25%): How meaningfully does the solution address the real needs of students in underserved public schools?
Innovation (25%): Does the project go beyond a basic chatbot? Does the AI agent take initiative, adapt, and act on behalf of the student?
Technical Execution (25%): Is the application well built, functional, and reliable? Is the code clean and documented?
Accessibility (25%): Can students with limited devices or internet access realistically use this application?
The panel will review all qualifying submissions and select a winner based on cumulative scores. The winning team will be announced on September 1, 2026.
